Sam Rueter started his career at Port Industries in 2005 working in Engineering. When Sam first started at Port Industries, he worked on both trencher and plow machines. Around 2012 Sam became the main engineer on the trencher machines and was very hands on in the design of the Tier IV 2520. In January 2018 Sam decided to move over to the sales team. Sam’s territory covers Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, an d Northeast parts of North and South Dakota.

Shane Decker started working at Port Industries in 2007. During his time at Port Industries Shane has worked on both trencher and plow setup and final assembly, as well as in the parts department. In September 2017 Shane decided to join the sales team. Here he will put his years of knowledge and experience to work for our customers. Shane’s territory covers the most Northern part of Missouri to Western Iowa, and from Nebraska to the West Coast including parts of North and South Dakota.

Wayne was raised on a dairy farm in Northwest Ohio. In 1979, he took over his father’s farm drainage business. As the years evolved Wayne expanded by adding sewer and excavating to the business. In 1993 he purchased a Hydramaxx 2400 Wheel Trencher (s.n. 3) from Port Industries. August 2012 Wayne joined the Port Industries sales staff as the Eastern Sales Representative located in Convoy, OH. His location also serves as a parts distribution center for Port Industries to provide Hydramaxx service and wear parts.

Josh Neff started working for Port Industries in 1995. He worked in many areas throughout the shop, including parts manufacturing and machine set-up. August of 2010, Josh joined the service department at Port Industries. He now heads the department. Josh schedules and coordinates our service employees to provide our customers with quality service maintenance for their machines, whether it’s in the field or shop. He provides excellent customer service and helps customers troubleshoot problems over the phone.

Chance Begley started working for Port Industries in 2005. He worked in machine assembly for 1 ½ years and in 2007 joined the service department. In 2010 Port Industries started selling and installing Trimble GPS units. Chance added the installation and support of the Trimble WM-Drain Farm Drainage Solutions in addition to his service tech. duties. He is the Trimble GPS Specialist for Port Industries. He works closely with Trimble to remain current on product knowledge and training, so we are able to provide our customers with the support they need after the initial sale.
Ron Amos has been the Engineering Manager for Port Industries since 1999. Ron is the head of the engineering department working with the engineering team on all aspects of Product Design. During Ron’s tenure Port Industries has introduced the following models: 2450, 2500, 2510, 2700, 2710, 2715, 2800, 3300, 3310, 3610, and VPlow.
